The Grace prospect has come up with the numbers again for Venus Metals and its managing JV partner Rox Resources at their Youanmi South project in the Goldfields, with new results over 30 gold gram metres clearly defining a high-grade mineralised zone that sits within a wider overall series of repeating gold bearing structures that plunge to the north.
Significantly, a new hole, 300 metres from the first discovery hole at Grace has hit 2 metres grading 18.96 grams per tonne gold from 48 metres at the end of hole - leaving the zone wide open at depth and to the north.
Venus Metals has lodged two interesting looking tenement applications on the south-western shore of Lake Ballard to be known as the Henderson gold-nickel project, located 50 kilometres northwest of Menzies in WA. The tenements fall within the Mt Ida greenstone belt, which is host to some significant projects including Mt Ida and Davyhurst, where gold’s renewed interest is breathing new life into those projects.
Venus Metals continues to zero in on the Penny South prospect at its Youanmi gold project. The company’s latest geophysical program has highlighted no less than five priority EM targets at the high-profile project which is located immediately along strike from Spectrum Metals’ famed Penny West gold deposit.
Venus Metals and its joint venture partner Rox Resources have produced some exceptional gold grades from the Grace prospect at the Youanmi project in Western Australia including a 7-metre drill hit grading 54.6 grams per tonne gold from just 8 metres downhole.
Venus Metals has completed a heliborne EM survey over its Bellchambers gold project east of Sandstone in WA. The company has zeroed in on ten new high priority targets that are sitting on the Western Ridge ‐ Mickey Well gold mineralised trend. It has identified 25 new targets in total at Bellchambers as a result of a recently completed “Xcite” airborne electromagnetic survey over about 12km of strike.
